A Clutter of Crocs
Oh man I hope M.C. Escher doesn't sue me for this ;) In today's litigious society he'd already have me court. Ok, for the "Clutter" theme of illustrationfriday.com again I thought I'd experiment a bit. This was tough! I guess it's gonna take some more practice, but it's fun at the same time. I read up on tessellation here, check it out.
I love alligators so this was a real treat. I love what you did - it's really neat. I actually tried making my first ever softy a few weeks ago and was marginally successful at it, though the poor alligator still lacks eyes, teeth, and any sort of embellishment, the basic shape of the alligator is there... I'm so glad I found your blog via IF and sorry for the long winded comment. Cheers! xx finch
